About Harsha
Hi! I’m Harsha, a 22-year old award-winning entrepreneur, VC scout and student at the University of Pennsylvania, where I serve as the President of the Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club.
My start-ups include:
Ascendance: A global social enterprise that has impacted over 50,000 Gen Zs across 26 countries, empowering at-risk youth to tackle grassroots issues through entrepreneurs. Ascendance has worked with Ministries of Education, Fortune 500 companies, and received multiple international awards and accolades.
NGEN: An intercollegiate community for ambitious student innovators. As a 501(c)(3), we organize events for students to connect across campuses, learn from experts, access resources, and collaborate with peers. NGEN empowers the next generation of entrepreneurs at every stage, from inspiration to lasting impact.
StartMyName: A social enterprise focused on providing digital tools and training to help small and medium entrepreneurs across Southeast Asia scale and grow online.
I am also a 3 times TEDx speaker and international conference speaker and recipient of the Diana Award for Young Changemakers in 2019 from the Diana Award Foundation, UK. In 2022 I was also listed on Prestige Malaysia’s 40 Under 40’s List of Malaysia’s most successful, innovative and influential young people and was also selected as a Skoll Fellow from the Skoll Foundation, USA, representing the region on the international philanthropic scene.
My book, ‘The Makings of A Teenage Entrepreneur’, which was released in 2021 and has sold over 10,000 copies. I have also been invited to share strategies and methodologies for fostering youth entrepreneurship and engaging and empowering at-risk students at multiple TEDx Talks and global conferences spanning Malaysia, the Philippines, India, Brunei, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more.Learn more about the lessons and resources I’ve found for entrepreneurs my subscribing.
